Iceberg Water… from your tap?

There is a popular show on The Weather Channel called Iceberg Hunters. Have you seen it? It’s about a family who wrangles icebergs and harvests the ice to sell to water-bottling companies. Sounds pretty dangerous and cool at the same time!

The Purest Water on Earth?

It is said that iceberg water is the purest and most pristine water available. These ice formations store water from a time before the earth was industrialized and polluted. The taste of this water has been compared to drinking air. Isn’t that the same thing as breathing?

You can get two different kinds of ancient water:

1. Iceberg water: This water is harvested directly from icebergs and does not get exposed to ground contaminants.

2. Glacier water: This water is bottled after it melts to the pools at the base of the glacier.

One company selling glacier water asserts that this water is highly alkaline, is rich in oxygen, has a small cluster size, and is a natural source of electrolytes. Do any of these statements sound familiar? They sure do! Ionized alkaline water from a water ionizer machine has the same properties as iceberg and glacier water. It’s true that the water from the machine is not thousands of years old, but it’s the closest to glacier and iceberg water that you’re going to get, and for much less money too!

These luxury waters run anywhere from $10 to $50 per bottle, depending on the company and the size of the bottle. Most of us don’t have the funds to spend that amount of money on a bottle of water. And most of us don’t live in an area close to icebergs or have glaciers melting in our yards.

The best, most economical and greenest option is to purchase a water ionizer machine, which will give you the same wonderful properties of glacier and iceberg water right from your tap. Ionized alkaline water is packed with antioxidants. With a water ionizer machine, you also have the option of adjusting the pH of your water to suit your needs, whether it’s alkaline water for drinking or acidic water for cleaning and sanitizing. Now that is pretty amazing!

What are your thoughts on iceberg water? Is it all it’s cracked up to be?
