Bob Says…Don’t Buy Them!

Water Ionizers From China? Good? Bad? Or, Downright Dangerous?

Buying a state-of-the-art product for a lower price is an opportunity we all would take advantage of. Who doesn’t love a bargain anyway? However, when it comes to products that have a direct impact on your health and the health of your family members, you wouldn’t want to settle for less.

Unfortunately, more and more people nowadays have been mesmerized by low-priced gadgets and appliances, particularly those that are made in China. Water ionizers from China are no different.

We all know that the best water ionizers come from Japan and Korea. And then here comes water ionizers from China, that are much lower in price. I wouldn’t be surprised if consumers are resorting to these products considering that they cost half the price range of more reputable brands.

But the question is whether you would want to sacrifice your health and that of your loved ones for a few hundred bucks? I wouldn’t. Plus, with limited warranties that don’t cover parts and labor, you will likely spend more money in the end, and put your health on the line. And here are the reasons you shouldn’t buy water ionizers from China.

Water ionizers from China are made of poor-quality materials

One reason top water ionizer brands cost more than China-made ones is that they are made of the best quality materials available. Water ionizers from China, however, use poor-quality plates, water filtration, and electronics. They also use titanium-platinum alloy in designing their plate, or gold instead of platinum. They do this to cut their expenses, but at whose expense? Yours and that of other consumers.

We’ve all had this happen. Don’t take a chance with your health!

Water ionizers from China contain parts made of alloy

As mentioned, Chinese manufacturers use alloy in constructing their water ionizers because it’s much cheaper to produce. When it comes to water ionizers, though, you would want to stay away from anything that has the word “alloy” in it. Why? It’s because alloy is produced by combining two or more metallic elements, and that affects that quality of the material.

Alloy is good for other stuff, but not for making ionizer plates. Over time, this will cause leaching of toxins into your water. Your drinking water will be passing over the plates, so it’s important that the plates are made of material that’s durable and can withstand erosion.

China doesn’t abide by strict manufacturing laws

Did you know that water ionizers are considered as medical instruments in Japan and Korea? That’s right. And it’s not surprising since we all know how meticulous these two countries are when it comes to the products that they manufacture. The same is not true with water ionizers made in China.

The reason they cost less than the best water ionizers out there is because they are not as closely regulated. Quality control is just poor when it comes to China-made water ionizers. From materials used, to electronics, to workmanship, you can’t expect them to even be half as good as those made in Japan and Korea.

Water ionizers from China don’t last long

This one is pretty obvious. Something that’s not made of high-quality material won’t last very long. They may look sophisticated and all on the outside because that’s what Chinese manufacturers are good at. But time will reveal that they’re not up to standard and will leave you hanging when you need them the most.

Water ionizers from China don’t deliver accurate results

What can you expect from something subpar? It’s one thing that these products don’t last very long, but it’s another thing that they don’t actually work. If you don’t believe me, check out YouTube and type in the keyword “water ionizer from China,” and you’ll find at least one video review showing that these products don’t deliver what they’re expected to.

I already mentioned that I prefer water ionizers that are made in Japan and Korea, but if you’re wondering what particular brands I’m talking about, leave me a message below and I’ll be glad to give you some of my recommendations.
